By car and camping van
From Paris
- Take the A13 motorway towards Caen, then the A84 towards Avranches Rennes (337 km)
- Take the A11 motorway towards Le Mans, then the A81 towards Fougères, and finally the A84 towards Caen.
From Nantes
- Take the A84 motorway towards Rennes Avranches Caen (188 km)
Once you arrive, there are several large car parks available, numbered P2 to P13.
- P2 : It is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
- P3 : It is reserved for hotel guests and is accessible with a code.
- P5-P6-P7bis-P10-P11-P12-P13 : They are accessible to cars (under 5m).
- P8 : It is dedicated to motorhomes (24 hours maximum, no sanitary facilities available).
- P9 : It is reserved for two-wheelers (bicycles and motorbikes)
Train
The nearest train station to Mont Saint-Michel is located in Pontorson (9 km). This can be reached via the following lines:
- “The Mont Saint-Michel train” : from Paris-Montparnasse. Take the NOMAD train to Pontorson-50, then a direct bus connection to Mont Saint-Michel
- TGV from Paris-Montparnasse to Rennes (2h00), then connections via TER from Rennes to Pontorson followed by a bus to Mont Saint-Michel
- TGV from Paris Montparnasse to Dol de Bretagne (2h40), then a bus from Dol-de-Bretagne to Pontorson, ten a bus from Pontorson to Mont Saint-Michel
- NOMAD train from Paris Saint-Lazare to Caen, then connection (TER) from Caen to Pontorson.
